I began to pray for him often. Sometimes it was as simple as praying that he would have a good day, but I also prayed that I would be able to see him as God sees him. I don't see that guy a whole lot anymore, but when I did see him a lot, I actually grew to enjoy being around him. Maybe you don't have to be her best friend, but you are capable of loving this girl. God wants you to, so He'll definitely help. :)Chandler Laschhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11510626274093863043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1927119037362222670.post-35320980231351726872012-04-29T19:56:50.274-07:002012-04-29T19:56:50.274-07:00Caroline, we all have problems loving each other. ...Caroline, we all have problems loving each other. But it's still important to love one another. 1 John 4:7 says, "Love one another, for love is of God. He who loves is born of God and knows God, but he who does not love, does not know God."
In John 13:34, Jesus says, "A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so must you love one another."
Again in Luke 6:35, it says, "But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the ungrateful and to the evil."
If we are to love as Jesus loved, we're going to be loving everyone. That's hard to do, and none of us succeed at it all the time. I think that in these instances when I'm stuck having difficulties loving someone, Brandon Heath's song, "Give Me Your Eyes," says it best:
"Give me Your eyes so I can see/Everything that I keep missing/Give me Your love for humanity"
Until we see people through God's eyes, as hurting, lost children; "How many times have I longed to gather you under my wings as a hen gathers her chicks, but you would have none of it," we'll have difficulty loving.

I hope that helps, and I encourage you to keep on trying to love her.Veronicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02368665543342396112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1927119037362222670.post-87889404186693764862012-04-28T18:56:37.384-07:002012-04-28T18:56:37.384-07:00You're not a sick individual, Seal... sometime...You're not a sick individual, Seal... sometimes we just don't get along with certain people, but we still have to be nice to them because we FEEL like if we don't, we'll be terrible people. It's much more considerate, in my opinion, to pretend to like someone for their sake than to flat out tell them "you are so annoying, why are you in my life?"Princess Cupcakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13785292184443791192noreply@blogger.com
